Sri Pushpa Gopal is the twenty-second branch of Srila Gadadhar Pandit. He lived i the village of Svarnagram in Dhaka District.

“In the book named Nämamåta Samudra, there is a prayer to him, ‘Please show me that lélä of Mahäprabhu when He at in Viñëukhatta in the house of Çréväsa’.”

ohe puṣpa gopāla! dehkau more

(Ns. 126)

The Śākhā-niraya mentions that Puṣpagopāla was formerly known as Svarṇagrāmaka. There it is written, in verse 45:

puṣpa gopāla namanong vande prema-viläsinam
svarasei suspita svarnagramako namadheyate.

Unfortunately there is no remaining evidence of Svarnagrama village. Some say that Sonargoan in Narayanganj district was previously known as Svarnagram.
