“Nitai pada kamala, koti chandra susitala, je chayay jagat juray”
Nityananada Prabhu is the ocean of mercy. Nityananda Prabhu delivers the materially afflicted world by extinguishing the blazing fire of material existence. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s associates appeared in Bangladesh and later moved to Navadvip. There is no record of Nityananda Prabhu’s visit to East Bengal, which is now Bangladesh.
Recently the wooden footwear of Nityananda Prabhu toured various countries of the world, bestowing transcendental blessings to the devotees; and for the first time the auspicious wooden footwear of Nityananda Prabhu also visited Bangladesh to deliver the fallen souls. These wooden shoes are just like the ambassador of Nityananda Prabhu Himself which are worshiped with Sri Sri Pancha Tattva in Sri Mayapur Chandradaya Temple. By receiving this auspicious wooden footwear of Nityananda Prabhu, His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaja, ISKCON GBC and initiating guru, also His Holiness Bhakti Purusottama Swami Maharaja, ISKCON GBC, His Grace Vraja Vilash Das, Director of Finance, TOVP bestowed unlimited mercy and blessings upon the Bangladeshi devotees.
First of all, this lotus footwear traveled to Sri -hatta in Sylhet Thus, special program were organized accordingly in ISKCON Sylhet. On the next day, an auspicious program was also arranged for the arrival of the wooden footwear of Nityananda Prabhu in ISKCON Swamibag Ashram, Dhaka. The highlight was a final grandiose festival organized by ISKCON Chattagram. A grand reception and Maha Abhishek was conducted in each temple. It is noteworthy that Mayapur, the appearance place of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, is entirely non-different from Vrindavana. In various Vedic scriptures Mayapur has been described as the mysterious Vrindavana. All previous Vaisnava Acharyas in our disciplic succession have rendered services in Sridham Mayapur. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has stated whoever has made an effort to support the development of Sri Dham Mayapur will be regarded as a well-wisher of all the future generation of vaisnavas of the whole world. Sri Nityananda Prabhu predicted to Jiva Goswami when narrating the glories of Mayapur-Navadwip Dham: “Odbhut mondir ek hoive prokash,gauranger nitya seva paibe bikash” – “A Vedic temple will manifest which will reveal the various pastimes of Lord Gauranga.” In order to practically fulfill the prediction of Nityananda Prabhu, Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), launched the establishment of that temple in Sridham Mayapur which is going to unfold as the spiritual capital of the whole world. The main temple which is known as The Temple of Vedic Planetarium is being built on a property measuring seven lakh square feet. Therefore the lotus footwear of Nityananda Prabhu arrived as a pioneering advocate in Bangladesh, just to give an opportunity to the devotees to take part in the mission of constructing this special Vedic temple which will be greater than the greatest within the entire universe.
